Pré de chez nous (literally translated : meadow near us) is a charming restaurant in the city center, near Grand Place. Everything is local, organic and seasonal. There is a new menu every week with three variations for every step of the meal : appetizer, main course, dessert. There is always a vegetarian option and the chef (very friendly) can adapt it in a vegan way. The menu is always online, so you can check if the offer is easy to adapt (especially for the dessert). When I went I didn’t warn but if you go with a group you should check with them beforehand. It’s often full so book your place if you want to be sure. Every time I went it was really good! And the atmosphere is calm and pleasant.

Pré de chez nous est un charmant restaurant situé dans le centre, pas loin de la Grand Place. Tout est local, bio et de saison. Il y a donc un menu unique, mais avec trois variations pour chaque phase du repas : entrée, plat, dessert. Il y a toujours un choix végétarien, et le chef (très sympathique) l’adapte en version végétalienne sur demande. Le menu est publié chaque semaine sur leur site, le mieux est alors de vérifier si les préparations peuvent être facilement adaptées (surtout en ce qui concerne le dessert, c’est toujours plus délicat). J’y suis allée sans prévenir, mais si vous vous y rendez en groupe, le mieux est tout de même de prévenir. Surtout que l’endroit est souvent bien rempli. En tous cas, j’y ai toujours très bien mangé! Et l’ambiance est plutôt calme et agréable.

Pré de chez nous (letterlijk vertaald : wei dicht bij ons) is een charmant restaurantje in het centrum, niet ver van de Grote Markt. Alles is er lokaal, bio en seizoensgebonden. Er is een nieuw menu elke week met drie variaties voor elke stap van de maaltijd : voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht en dessert. Er is altij een vegetarische optie en de chef (zeer aardig) past het op aanvraag aan naar een veganistische versie. Het menu staat altijd online, zo kan je misschien checken of het aanbod makkelijk omzetbaar is (vooral wat het dessert betreft). Ik was er toen geweest zonder te verwittigen, maar als je met een groep gaat bel je best wel op voorhand. Het is ook vaak volzet, dus best reserveren. In ieder geval heb ik daar altijd goed gegeten! En de sfeer is kalm en gezellig.
