A few weeks ago, a new place appeared in Brussels: Liu Lin. Presented as offering "Taiwan inspired street food", the place is actually very warm and well decorated, and the food is served in beautiful dishes. The whole menu is 100% plant-based and here is a little warning: it's difficult to make a choice. All dishes look so attractive! Eventually, I chose the Crispy wontons and the Lalot skewer. My table companion took the Taro & mini spring rolls and the Lin's rice noodle bowl. The wontons were excellent: crispy and accompanied by a daikon cream. The nems were great too, and the main dishes are just as great! Sometimes nems or wontons can be found in the composition of a dish, so maybe it's better to order some different startes, to avoid a double ration. That said, why not, they're so good! :) The drinks are also well selected. I took a Yugen kombucha, ideal in combination with my dishes.
This place is managed with a lot of love and joy. A great place, delicious food, but also two very nice sisters! A triple winning combo!
